Our Story
Muse Boudoir first began the way most photography businesses do; with a camera and a wild idea that we could do some really neat things with it. We started out by taking boudoir photos for fun in our home, spending countless hours planning shoots and boring over Pinterest photography boards for inspiration and ideas. After that we began shooting boudoir for our friends, and figured why NOT turn this thing into something more? Thus Muse Boudoir was born!
Since then we have fallen in love with boudoir. Not just because of its ability to be so versatile in its execution, but also because of the way someone is able to view themselves after seeing their photos. Our goal is to inspire lasting self-confidence in our clients and create a space where they can express themselves freely.

Hi there! We’re Jesse and Jenn, your resident photographer/self-love cheerleader dream team based out of Olympia, WA. Some of the things we love include hiking, playing D&D, reading, gaming, playing with our two adorable pups, and of course taking gorgeous photos!
Our start with boudoir photography began in 2021, right where most people ended up being stuck that year and the one before it; at home. After we got married in September of 2022, we decided to turn it into a business so we could share the joy of learning to love ourselves with others.

At Muse Boudoir, we cater to all individuals and couples of every kind. Our primary goal is to make sure that every client walks away from their shoot not only loving their photos, but loving themselves as well. When you walk through the door on the day of your shoot we have one rule that we ask all our clients to stick to; no negative self-talk. Our hope is that every person we photograph walks away feeling strong, confident, and beautiful in the skin they’re in.
From the moment you decide to book us, we will be there to walk you through every step of the process; from finalizing outfits, to posing, to selecting the products that will best display your stunning photographs. On the day of your shoot, Jesse will be behind the camera as the primary photographer, while Jenn is there as a second shooter and to assist with posing, lighting, keeping you hydrated and comfortable, and anything else you may need!
Although our primary studio is located in the heart of Downtown Olympia, we love to shoot anywhere we can create an environment that is inclusive, safe, and comfortable for every person (or persons) who walk through the door.
